Flatulence

I had been invited to my new boyfriend's house on Sunday night to meet his family. I was excited and nervous and spent some time choosing a pretty dress to impress his parents, knowing only too well the importance of first impressions.

I hired a DVD and ordered take away Indian curry the night before so I could get my beauty sleep and be fresh for meeting my potential future husband's family. I was giddy with excitement and put the tummy rumbles down to nerves. Shortly after I arrived and had been introduced to John's family, his father thought it might be fun to tell a few jokes to break the ice. Trying to be appreciative, I roared with laughter. Suddenly a loud explosion nearly lifting me from the ground filled the air, followed by a deathly silence. I had broken wind but I couldn't blame the family pet because they didn't have one! The blood rose to my cheeks as the odour permeated through room. Not even the roast in the kitchen stood a chance against the pungent odour. I never heard from him again...

I met a hunky guy as I was picking up my morning coffee and the attraction was instant. We chatted as we waited in line for our lattes and we exchanged cards.
